High-Temperature Colorants for PEEK & Sulfone Polymers

High-performance resins such as PEEK and the sulfones (PSU, PESU, PPSU) process at temperatures where ordinary masterbatches shift colour or degrade properties. Avient Colorant Chromatics™ is a colorant and pre-colored compound range developed specifically for these high-temperature polymers. Octud supplies these colour solutions alongside BASF Ultrason® and Joyrun PEEK resin, so resin and colour come from a single source.

Colour built in at the compound stage

High-temperature engineering resins process at 320–400 °C, where ordinary pigments scorch or shift shade and standard carrier resins degrade. Avient formulates its masterbatches and full compounds with heat-stable pigments and a carrier matched to the base resin (PSU, PESU, PPSU, PEEK), so colour stays true and evenly dispersed through moulding — no streaks, no thermal drift, no post-mould coating.
