Ultrason® S 2010
Standard-viscosity transparent injection molding grade of polysulfone (PSU). Excellent hydrolysis resistance and a 175°C heat deflection temperature make it the workhorse for water purifiers, kitchen appliances, food-contact parts and electrical insulation components.
Read the food-contact listings above against drinking-water and non-food applications. This grade is BPA (bisphenol A)-based and therefore requires recertification for EU food contact under Regulation 2024/3190. For high-temperature food contact, consider PPSU (Ultrason® P 3010), made without BPA or BPS. Drinking-water contact and food filtration membranes fall outside the restriction.
